Oh okay here we go!, I see a lot of people who are A intrested in android, be, put off because samsung in android 4.1.1 "the first jelly bean iteration" learn quickly they have to double tap. Some even have told me they do not like the voice at all. Well here you go, I am writing a simple but quick guide how to download, change your keyboard and synth Note: not all synths are free but some are very good and cheep. !
Asooming you have your device already set up here you go!: 1. you can go to httP//www.google.com and locate the play link. 2. when you have entered the play store or "google play" there is a search box here is where you can search for the keyboard and synth your looking fore. 3. a few great devs have back ported the jelly bean 4.2 keyboard and will! run on jelly bean 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 :). Search for jelly bena keyboard and will be the second result your looking for, arrow down to install "if your not signed in go ahead and sign in". Next tab to okay and sit back as google play does its magic. repeat the same steps above for searching for a jelly bean keyboard you can do the saem for speach synths. You can search for ocapela and install it from the web. Note: ocapela is not free the voices are about 4 bucks if memory serves me right. Ocapela has a in app purchase that is quite streem line for a user. When you have bought or downloaded your synths and keyboard next I will guide you as to set them as your default.
1. Now to change your keyboard go to apps settings language and default swipe down to the keyboard you installed and check it. I dialog will come up explaining that this the app has specific rights to change or delete items on your device. Go ahead and double tap oaky to check the check box on the keyboard you want. 2. Now scrol back up and find a combo box that says default keyboard, double tap or single tap depending on your android that runns your device and then scrol down to the keyboard you want. Select it and your done changing your keyboard. Now for speach synths:
Again if you have already exited settings or got a phone call here is how to get to text to speach on jelly bean: 1. navagate to apps settings language and default scrol down to text to speach double tap it to open text to speach. Scrol down to the synth you want and check the check box. A dialog will come up double tap okay. That is it, your done, if you wnat help with the play store ask me off the board I will help.
one more thing: if you swipe down and to the right a global context menu will come up, in that particular menu has talkback settings up and to the right. In talkback's settings text to speach can be found as well. its a quicker way to change talkback's behavior and its TTs.
I know this may seem minor, but I wanted to reply and make sure the correct spelling of Acapela is known. What you'll be looking for in the Play store is Acapela TTS Voices. Spelling it incorrectly brings up apps for singing a capella.
that was a very useful post.
i have started using GB 4.1.2 .

but still learning .
feel phone with keys are much easy than these tuch phones loll.
